Tacos done right. You need not go to Mexico if you want the real deal. I finally made my way to Tacoholic in Langley City to satisfy my taco craving and I’m sorry that I only visited them now.
I ordered 4 tacos at $3 each. I got the asada, tinga de pollo, chicharon and carnitas tacos. I honestly don’t see chicharon a lot in other taco places I’ve tried so I knew I had to order it. Chicharon is basically pork skin belly and can be disgusting to some people but for other cultures, it’s a delicacy and I found it rather tasty in a taco as well. I wanted the al pastor but they only offer it on weekends (definitely a reason to come back).
My personal favourite was the asada but the other three I tried were really good too. Their tacos are so soft and chewy, the meats flavourful and just the right combination of spices that’s not overwhelming. With the combination of the cilantro and onion toppings, it was a feast for my taste buds.

The four tacos that I ordered were more than enough as they were very filling. I ordered guava jarritos for my drink and it paired perfectly.

If you haven’t been and want authentic and good-priced tacos, check them out. I’m for sure coming back to try their other offerings like quesadillas, nachos and of course their other taco flavours.
