Decided to hang out at Kooben Café, it sits prominently right in the corner of downtown Langley City’s growing restaurant scene by Fraser Highway / Douglas Crescent area. Basically, you can’t miss it.
It’s spacious inside and there were lots of people coming in and out with take out orders. Inside it was moderately busy with a mix of locals and families meeting up, working on their laptops or just on their phone, when I came in. The place is cozy and I liked how there are different areas where you can have privacy if in case you were a group of friends wanting to hang out.

I wasn’t particularly hungry so I just got a cookies & cream cupcake and a decaf latte. There were other flavours that I wanted to try like “it’s my party” and “pretty in pink.”And the “choripan” for their sandwiches.

I would say it’s a great place to pass the time. I was just looking for somewhere to hang out by myself and get a treat and happy to have explored another place in Langley.
Update as of 11/22: On Kooben Cafe’s Instagram account, management has announced that they are closing shop with their last day on December 23, 2022 with many reasons cited. I’m truly sad to hear when a small business has to close down.
